Thanks guys, you've given me some good stuff to think about. I had BFG ATs on a 1998 Chevy, and they rode and last great. I'll check into some of the suggestions here. Will post pics once it is ready to share. Can't wait!

I second the BFGs! The new MT KM2s actually perform very well and highly agressive looking (see my F250 in gallery) but the ATs are much better all around performer (see my F150 in gallery) and look very good on the F150s. I do not recommend ProComps as they have tendency to wear unevenly and do not perform as well as the BFGs (yes, I have used them). The Nittos ATs are good too but I don't think look as good or as long lasting (but had them on my Dodge so that might have been a factor).

I am putting BFG ATs on my F150 this weekend and can't wait (dumping the cheap Goodyears that came stock).

Good luck on yours!

For a daily driver that can be used off-road as well the BFG AT's are hard to beat. I've got over 30k miles on mine and they are only 1/3 worn. You'll get tired of looking at them before you can wear them out!

The bfg's are good. I have 35x12.5x17 procomp A/t's. Have had no problems, live in michigan and worked well in all conditions. I have gotten 65000 out of them rotating every 6000. Not bad for 35" tire. Check out my pics for looks.

I would also say go the AT route... I just got a set of Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's... they are extremely aggressive looking, handle great, and are quiet on the road.. small hum, but nothing a lil bit of radio can't take care of. Here's a pic of them on my truck. They have sidebitters as well for a little extra grip and looks good can get them in this size for $300 a peice from 4wheelparts.com

BFG ATs is what you want. MTs suck in the snow and are loud, and the Terra Grapplers are garbage in mud (my friend has them on his lifted toyota). Plus the BFG ATs will give you 60k a set easily.

I have to go with what I've had on my truck for the last 15K miles, 285x70x17 BFG All Terrains......They look new, handle great on road & off road!...........They will be replaced with the same if they ever wear out!........

My vote is for the BFG AT's. Great off and on road. The MT's are going to drive you nuts on the highway. People say they are quiet, but there is still a difference between those and a AT tire.

I had BFG AT's on my old Suburban and they did just fine in the mud and great everywhere else. Never got stuck.

After my stock BFG Trails wear out that is what I am going with.

Good luck!

**** Cepek Fun Country II's !!!!!!!!!!

At that has the mean MT look. Mine do good in the snow, even at 13.5" wide. I get complements all the time on how tough they look. Its a tire that sets you apart from the crowd too. People have reported getting over 60,000miles +. I have around 2k miles on mine and love them.

I'm narrowing it down. **** Cepek, BFG A/T, or Nitto Terra Grappler are still in the running. The Nitto has my attention at the moment. A guy at 4WheelParts says that I'll get a few more miles from the Terra Grappler than I would the Toyo A/T. Both 10 ply, sturdy tires. I'd like to hear more about the Terra Grappler.
