Need Help on offset/backspacing for specific application
I'm looking for help in finding the best wheel sizing for my application. Basically looking for offset and backspacing info.
What would be the best size wheel for a 2005 4x4 with a 2" front shock lift and using 305/65/18 BFG AT's? I would really like to stay inside of the factory wheel wells since I'm not a fan of wheels that extend past the fender flares?
I have the oem 18" chrome lariat wheels and I just bought a set of BFG AT's 305/65/18 and installed a set of Bilstein 5100 2" adjustable shocks.
Thanks

Forgot to add that when I went to have the new tires mounted I discovered that one of my wheels has a crack in the inside lip, so... I'm working on getting a set of after market wheels.
Any brands I should avoid due to poor quality, construction, etc.?

An 8" wheel with 5 1/2 inches of BS, or a 8 1/2 inch wide wheel with close to 6 inches of BS would bring you out only 1/2" more than stock. These would keep the tires inside of the wheelwells and give you more clearance in the front. I had to use 8" wide wheels with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing for my tires not to rub in the front. Same rule applies to 17 and 18" wheels.
