tire ?

i just bought a 2005 f-150 fx4 and was wondering what the biggest size of tire i can fit on the factory fx4 wheels and a 2.5 inch leveling kit. thanks

Out of all the threads Ive read the biggest tire you can put on is a 35 12.50.

do you know the metric size of that tire i have read 325/65r18 is the biggest size in metric but i don't know that for sure

325/65/18 would essentially be a 34.6/12.8, dont know how much closer to 35/12.5 you can get in metric, what brand tire are you looking to get. toyo, bfg both have mud terrains in 35/12.50/18. dont think bfg makes all terrains in 35/12.50. hope this helps

A 325mm wide tire is too wide for the oem 7.5 inch wide wheels. A 35x12.50 (305/70-18, or 315/70-17) is as wide as you can go and that is pushing it.

hey i don't know if you guys have seen the newest off-road magazine but they have an f-150 with some nittos on it and thats what i want my truck to look like...but any way what about a 305/60r18 would that work?

Yes, that would be essentially a 33x12.50-18 tire.
