Rear Brake Question

Hey guys, I know this is an f150 but my Gas Saver's rear brakes are acting up and I know how knowledgable you guys are in general!!! Anyways, When I brake at slow speeds the rear end of the Cavalier drops down.. Also the ABS seems to be real touchy and goes off when not needed... Being the retard I am, I took it apart and had my GF hit the brakes when the drum was off so I could see if the springs were pulling back the Shoes when the pedal was released... Needless to say I think the seals are blown. Any Ideas on a solution???

Thanks a Bunch guys
Sean

What seals are you referring to? The cylinders?

It is entirely possible a cylinder or two has gone bad. I replaced all mine in September. Remember, you can't just place one. You must do it in pairs. $17 a piece at Carquest.

Not a big deal, just take a little emery cloth and clean up the inside of the wheel cylinders, clean with brake clean, towel dry, lube with brake fluid, re-assemble.
