help on regearing

I have a 97 f150 2wd lariet with 3.55 gears.i just changed to 35inch tires so i want to regear. I want to change the gear ring and pinion to give me better gas mileage. Can someone help me out on how to pick what gears i need. All i know is that i have a 3.55 and want to chge to a 4.10 or 4.56. I dont know what one to pick when im at the site. Give me some info/help.

Well the equivalent gears for a 35 inch tire is between the two, which I would round up to the 4.56, I have them in my truck and have 35s and its tons better than stock. But I would go no higher than 4.56 if anything I wish I might have gone lower and gotten 4.88s.

I'd go with 4.56's.

I've had the Yukon 4.56's in my truck for over a year now with absolutely no issues. Made a huge difference from the stock 3.55's.
