I just received a set of tires and wheels from Discount tiredirect.com--MB Gunner 5, 18x8.5 with Falken ZT5-285/60-18... My truck is lowered 3"F / 4"R. Well, I orderd what I thought these were the stock LIGHTNING dimensions for the tires according to their website. They look great and have a quiet ride, however, they rub my fenders big time over dips and big bumps. I'm overseas, and my only saving grace is that the speed limit is only 25mph... LOL

Instead of guying a new set of tires to address the clearance issue, should I "massage" the wheel wells to get additional clearance I need? I'm really hesitant about altering the shape of such a pristine piece of sheetmetal.
