parking brake light

On a cool morning, as I released the parking brake on my "01 Super Crew,
the parking brake light stayed on, even though the brake was disengaged. Any ideas?

Guaranteed it's seized, pound the hook back and get ready for an overhaul on it, not too hard or expensive.
