Question 305/55/20 Will I Rub???

2" Bilstein Shocks level up front.

Tires will hopefully be Pirelli Scorpion ATR 305/55/20's.

Thanks,
Chris

we have the same plan and asked the same question before. wandell confirmed that either 285/55/20 or 305/55/20 utilizing bilstein 5100 adjustables will work fine. as far as your tire plan goes, ive heard better suggestions than pirelli scorps. look into bfg, procomp, toyo, or nitto. hope that helps.

This would be for a second set. I love the way the Pirelli's look on the truck. I get compliments on them everywhere.

I plan on picking up another set of wheels and throwing some MT's on them for when I want that look.

Also, I'm pretty sure the ATR's will be better than any MT's in the winter months LOL.

Thanks for the help!

There are several post here on problems with the OEM Pirelli ATR's flatspotting and vibrating. THere are much better choices such as the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, etc.

YES you will rub at full lock! People always look when I have to cut the wheel sharp. But the looks is worth it!

I agree with Wandell. My 20" Pirelli ATRs are horrible in the morning, as they flat spot just from sitting one night in my garage. Plus, they do not ride very smoothly on the highway. I will not buy another set for my truck once these are wore out.

I am debating between the 33x12.5 Toyo MTs or BFG AT KOs with an 18x9 rim using 4.5 or 5 inches of back spacing.

i have a 2" leveling with 305/55/R20... The tire i have currently is the Toyo Open Country a/t... love the look and how it rode, but tomorrow I am getting a set of Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ trad. put on. Love the look of them as well and heard great things bout them. I got 50k out of my Toyo's too, I realize they are going to be you backup set, but always good to know you can get good mileage out of them.
