I have a 2001 ford f-150 5.4 ext cab. ready to buy new tires but I want tires that will fill up the fender without rubbin any sug.???

 

if its 4x4 you can do 285s or 305s. both are close in diameter (33s) just 305s are wider

 

It's 2wd the tires that are on it just look really really small... I don't know nothing about tires.. It has 275/60/17 on it right now

Id go ahead and get a leveling kit it will bring the front level with the back EXTREMELY simple to install and cheap.

Then id suggest 285/75/16's which is 33x11.5x16
You can fit this tire without the leveling kit but it would look better with it.

A 305/70/16 (33x12.5x16) will fit with a leveling kit.

 

I have 17 inch wheels... (Factory) would you still go with that and where can I get one of these leveling kits??

 

Daystar makes leveling kits for your 4x2. With one, a 285/70-17 would be a good size. Without a leveling kit, I'd go with a 265/70-17 (32x10.50) tire.
