what can i get for my money?

Hello everyone! I just got a new truck! 07' F150 4x2 scab with 18" rims. I'm lookin to beef it up a bit with some new tires and a lift/leveling kit. I've got about $2,000 to put in it but don't have clue where to start... Any suggestions?

Try some different sites and look for "Package deals" you could probably get a power package around $1k and rim/tire package around $1.2k. What you buy should depend on how YOU want to take YOUR truck. Street/Work/Offroading. It's a canvas for you to paint.

I agree on the package deal for rims and tires or check the classifieds on this site. I would then recommend a leveling kit and a 3" body lift and 33" or 35" tires. Keep in mind the rims and tires can be costly so if that is your budget I would shop around for the best deal. The BL is $400 plus install, the level kit is $120 most places won't charge to install if they are doing something else to your ride, and check out wheelsforless.com for a package deal. You first need to decide on high you want to go first and then look at what size tires. You have a 4X2 so you won't be able to lift that high without a suspension lift.

I'd suggest a 2 or 2.5 inch Autospring leveling kit and some 33 inch tires on an 18x9 inch wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing.

You guys are budgeting a lot for a leveling kit. Mine was $70 shipped and I put on after work. I agree with Wandell, leveling kit and 33's.

Keep in mind, if you are planning on adding a lift in the future, If you go with the 18X9 rims I would go with a smaller backspace so you won't have to but new rims later down the road, just new tires.

2" leveling kit, 285x65x18 BFG or Nitto All terrains and still have money left over for an exhaust and a programmer. Ought to be close to 2k buck's.
