Help with tire size for OEM 20's.......

Hello, I currently have these OEM 20" wheels that I believe are 20x8.5.......

I do however want to go with a more aggressive looking tire and have seen some members with 305/55/20 tires on their OEM 20" wheels....will I have no problem running those wheels on my OEM 20's with my truck at stock height? I have a 2008 FX2 SuperCrew 4x2. How about running those tires after lowering the back 2" with shackles to level it out......any problems with rubbing or any issues you guys know of? Thanks in advance for your help!

33's will look out of place if you lower it. go down to a 305/50/20.. Alot of 2wd members use them!

You are sort of contradicting yourself. Most 305/55-20's are either AT or MT tires, which will look weird on a lowered 4x2. You need to decide on a look. Either lift the front with a leveling kit and go with a 305/55-20 off road tire or lower the rear and go with a 305/50-20, 295/50-20, 285/50-20 street tire.

Awesome, is there any issues I would have to worry about if I go with the 305/50/20 tire on the OEM 20" rim? Rubbing maybe? I'm sure you guys would have told me by now but I just wanna make sure Any specific tire you guys would recommend in that size? Thanks for the help!

Hey 08Ford FX2, do you buy any chance have any pictures of your truck with the 2" GF Shackle Kit and the 305/50/20 tires?

I don't think you will have any problems with 305/50-20's.
