snow tire sizes ??
Hi getting snow tires ford150 oem size 285/65/18
Tire I'm getting is blizzak DM-Z3, sizes come 275/60/18 or 265/70/18
what is the preffered tire and why

OEM size would be 275/65R18, not 285.
As to your replacements, they both are a good bit different in size in comparison to the OE. The 265 is over half an inch taller, and the 275is over an inch shorter.
If those are the only 2 sizes you can get, go with the 265/70R18. Narrower is better in snow. Only question is do you have a 4x4. If so, you will need to get 4 as with those size differences, you will not be able to use 4x4 if tire diameter is different between front and rear.
