Angry BAD BRAKES (buyer bewear)

i recently purchased some hawk ceramic brake pad from auto anything they were the top of the line (low dust) pads i just wanted everyone to know that i have more dust on my rims now then i did with factory pads also i have only put 3300 miles on them since February 08 and they have damaged my rotors and or squeaking very bad i have tried to return them but auto anything well only exchange them if i take them off my truck and send them back and let my truck set for 2 weeks with no brakes and they have very bad customer service..
if anyone has questions about this i well be happy to answer them..

also if you know of good pads and low dust please let me know

thanks for your time

dont ever buy ceramic pads. i made that mistake, luckily i only have them on the rear. they started making an odd almost squealing noise when they were brand new and they put a nice groove in my rotor.

I highly recommend Carbotech Engineering products. They get about $100 per set of pads or shoes but their linings are excellent, and used them for over 20 years.

I find it odd that the ceramics put a groove in you rotor since the ceramic friction material is softer than the rotor. (One down side to ceramic- they wear faster.)

Is the groove a narrow line or as wide as the pad?

This is why I think it's gay to buy brakes online. If mine f up, about 1 hour they deliver me new ones, no questions asked. This is where I mention the lifetime warranty to achieve this, otherwise I charge it to my account.
