Need Pics! 06 and up Crew cab 6.5' box

Hey, I have been looking at getting an 06 or newer F150 and am trying to decide between the 5.5' and 6.5' box. The 5.5 looks a lot better but the 6.5 would be a lot more useful. The only pics I have seen are of stock trucks. I would probably do a leveling kit and 305/55/20 tires on 20" wheels. Does anyone have pics of there 6.5' crew cab? thanks

it should handle pretty much the same just a foot longer. I know you asked for a 6.5 but maybe my 5.5 gives you an idea.

I drove both when buying my 2007. They felt the same except the long bed is slightly harder to park is all. I bought the long bed. my wife can park it when she absolutely has to drive it. For a lifted truck with big tires, you gotta go with the long bed...

its not lifted... other than the 2" Bilstein leveling kits! If your going crew... I recommend the 6.5!

It seems really long.... but it doesn't take too long to learn to negotiate parking! I couldn't be happier witht he 6.5 bed!

Cheers

If you are used to 6.5' like I WAS then don't get a 5.5' like i DID. I hate the short box. Just my $.02.

They may be a little bit harder to park...but they sure look damn good lifted and I can fit my Polaris 500 in the back with my tool box still in

Remember, the 6.5 is not a long bed. It's just that the 5.5 is an ultra-short bed.

The 5.5 will be good enough 98% of the time. I have only needed a longer bed maybe twice in 6 years. I agree that they do look awesome lifted.

As far as driving you won't notice much of a difference parking a longer rig. In CA a short bed is nice when going to the city. You will get a better ride with the longer truck.

Go for the long bed. IMO

i believe it is the other way around, my dad has a f-250 8 foot bed and it rides like crap.

i believe cars or trucks with shorter wheel bases have better rides correct?
