post pics of your '04-'08 4x4 with 18"-20"s!
thanks for all the posts! I definitely found what I needed....I LOOOVE the 20s (and the truck) that zeruin has but 07fx4silver definitely answers my question about 18s looking hot. Those look great!
My issue now is that I am finding these tires (275/70/18) like highvoltage has are not much cheaper than the 22" tires are....not to mention I am noticing the aftermarket 18" wheels are 9" wide while the OEM 22"s are only 8.5 (according to an ebay listing). We usually prefer a more narrow tire for driving in the snow so it can cut through it a little and get to pavement vs a wider tire that packs it down and rides on top.....
I would really like a setup like FX4 silvers but I would need a smaller tire (probably the same size as highvoltage is running unless there is something thinner) and even then I might need to find a used package deal to make it worth it.
I wasnt thinking it would be a 2,000 investment to get a spare set of 18s for the winter...and if the OEM tires arent that wide (relatively speaking) then maybe I will just stick with them. Hmm....

I wana play !!

Those are 305 70 R18 (35x12.50 on an 18" rim)
Cuts through mud and snow just fine ! ( these trucks are PLENTY heavy to allow a 12.5" wide tire to cut through anything ! ) Just a couple weeks ago, heading up to a local camp spot after a good rain, and Yota was struggling to get up this hill climb (mud). My truck could walk up it like solid groun. Even stopped next to him, just to tease him a bit, then hooked up and pulled him up. Also, my tires are pretty aggressive, so that helps with cutting through mud/snow. Just my 2 cents.

thats a good point about weight....that might just be an old addage from my parents since we always used to have front wheel drive or awd small cars.
If rim width isnt the issue then I guess its just a matter of how well the OEM scorpion tires on the harley davidson will handle the snow Vs a more a MT/AT or simply a less performance oriented all-season. That and what will the salt do to my pretty wheels
I am checking ebay to see what kind of deals are out there.

just saw these on ebay:

Not sure that I would want that particular style but I notice it says it fits 04-06 F150 and explicitly says it does not fit '07s...is there some change between 06 and 07 that I should be aware of when looking for wheels?
