Larger rotors & better quality pads?

I will be switching from 18" wheels and 33" tires to 20" wheels and 35" tires very soon...should I upgrade to a 14" rotor and "name brand" pads or...

any feedback will be appreciated

When you put on bigger wheels/tires, upgrading to bigger/better brakes is never a bad idea. Just my $.02.

After doing a little more reading in the forums that seems to be the consensus...I am just not sure if a 14" rotor is overkill or a smart move...I guess the only way to know for sure is to give it a shot...it definitely isn't going to hurt.

Thanks for reply.

would you be moving to a 14" rotor and sticking with the OEM calipers or is there some big brake kit out there that comes with calipers and rotors?

Also do people typically upgrade only the fronts? Any benefit to doing the rears as well?

What kind of prices are you looking at with bigger rotors?
