Leveling Kit? Tire Size? Pictures?

I have a 2005 F150 4x4 5.4L King Ranch. The rim size is 18x7.5. The Tire I am looking at is 305/65R18 BFG AT.

My question to everyone is what size leveling kit should I get to run these tires?

Does anyone have any pictures of there truck with these tires on them?

Also what is the Biggest Size tire I can go with my 18x7 rim and 3" leveling kit in front? Any suggestions on specific tires?

Any info is greatly appriciated I have to buy something soon I can barely keep traction when I leave a stop light!!!

Go with a 2 or 2.5 inch kit. 3 inches is too much lift and will cause premature ball joint wear.

That is what I was wondering. I would like to get a 35x12.50 tire in the well. Can I do this with a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit?

Yes, if you use the oem wheels or one almost identical. You can use an aftermarket 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing, but the choices are limited.

what tire do you recommend? I was looking at BFG AT because I have heard good things about this tire. Is there any others I should check out before purchasing?

Also do you recommend a leveling kit?

I like my leveling kit. I was a little torn between the leveling kit and a full 6" suspension. I went with the leveling kit because I have small kids, parking in my garage is a must, and the courthouse has a parking structure I have to get into. Also my truck is a 2wd and is much more about looks then actual offroad functionality

The bilstien leveling kit rides real nice. I went with BFG's because I have had good luck with them in the past, though I have also had the procomps (didn't seem to last as long)

I actually stepped down in wheel size but up in tire size. I had the factory 20's on it and went with 18's and 285/65/18. I think that is a good size. They fill out the wheel well good and there are no rubbing issues. I guess you can stuff a bigger tire under there but might have to worry about rubbing.

Love those wheels. Would look good on my Blue on Beige 05 Lariat. Did you get a good price on them. I have the same tires as well.

I half assed looked them up minutes ago. Some seem to be gettin $300 per for the 20". I couldn't find the 18". Being my BFGs are new, and I paid some change for them, I would match the wheel with the tire. Did you have a hard time gettin the Moto Metals in 18"

Mine are the 18's. I downsized from my factory 20's for a variety of reasons. one reason was long term cost of replacement tires.

Here is a link to them at 4 wheel parts. I got them for $150 a piece when I bought them.
