Lever on the ABS module.

Today i noticed on my 05 scab , there is a "U" shaped gray colored pullout type lever on the ABS module. I pulled it out a little ways, and pushed it back in. It is facing the radiator. Does anyone know what this does? I figure it might be a bypass "switch" or maybe used to assist in bleeding brakes....I guess I'm going to have to get a Hayes or Chilton manual which are normally useless, except torque values and a few things. thanks in advance...rossford
