nitto mud grapplers..good or bad?

OK I have heard both good and bad about Nitto mud graps. They don't last long or they are too loud. I thought a lifted truck was supposed to roar. Anyways need some opinions if you know or have these tires. Also would like some pics of some other mud terrains out there. Please post the pics not a website, in Iraq and the firewalls here are tough.

They perform well, but as you have heard they wear quickly and are extremely loud. And by loud, I mean by MT standards. A lot of people claim Super Swamper Boggers are the only thing that is louder.

I chose BFG mud terrain KM2 tires. They look really aggressive like the nittos, and perform well on and off road. They are supposed to last a while with proper rotations, and best off they are super quiet for a MT.

It looks like I may be getting the Toyo Open Country MT instead. They haven't shipped the other ones yet and said it would be no problem to change. Good timing I guess. Do the Toyo's roar?

Grapplers are the best looking by far. I wouldnt pay that kind of money for a daily driver though.

The Toyo MT is supposed to be the quietest MT available.

How is the Mud Grappler street wise? I don't mind the roar, is it a decent road tire. Does the Toyo roar at all?

Read wandells post above . Toyos are known for being very quiet (if not the quietest), not really my first choice when it comes to mud terrains, but everyone that has them seems to like them . With that said, I'd stick with the mud grapplers , they might be my next tire...

Edit: As far as nitto mud grapplers being expensive, they're typically cheaper when compared (size for size) to BFG KM2's, Toyo Open Country M/T, etc.

X2! I'd never buy the MG's and run them on my truck.

Nitto Products suck IMO (Terra, Dune, and Mud Grapplers)

Id choose BFG, Interco(super swamper) , Toyo, Cooper, Mickey Thompson, Maxxis

Id run a half used set of Interco's before buying a new set of Nitto's

I have Super Swamper TSL radials and have over 29.5K miles on them with about another 6-9k left to go. I can get you a picture of the tires.

i dont know why ppl hate MG. I have them myself and yes they are very loud but i mean if that does not bother you then who cares. They look bad *** and are prob one of the meanest looking tires out there. I have like almost 8k on mine and they are going to last a good while. I rotate them and get them balanced every oil change and they are fine.

Heres a picture of my Super Swamper TSL Radial's

They are narrow but you can get wider sizes.

If you like these id take a look at Super Swamper Iroks but make sure you get Radials.

Well I did narrow it down between the Grapplers or the Toyo MT's. My only question was how are the Graps at high speeds? I mean do you get a fairly decent ride on the highway or do they suck?
