michelin ltx a/t 2

if any one is considering buying this tire, michelin ltx a/t2 i would highly reccomend them. i had the stock tires on the 05 king ranch f150 and hit a puddle doing about 35 mph and went sideways. after just missing a van and guard rail i decided i needed to do something about the tires. i did have crossterrains on my last truck and put the same set on this one. pulled them off the other truck at trade in. got about 75k out of them. went to get new crossterrains and they dont make the 18 inch in the size for the f150. they really werent a truck tire anyway, more for an suv. so i did a little reading on the ltx a/t 2 and they sounded like a good choice. we had some heavy rain so i went looking for puddles. these tires dont hydroplane at all. they are quiet on the road. they ride and handle great. max press is 44 psi. i pumped them to 40 psi and my milegae increased. ride is a little harder than the stockers that i had at the 35 psi max.

Do you experience any side to side wander? I've heard 2 complaints about the AT2's.

Have had Michelin LTX A/T2 on my 05 Lariat Screw for about 4,000 miles now, IMO the best tire ever, wet roads, no problem, snows just starting here, and I'm looking forward to it!

I put them on my 2008 before delivery. Best move I could have done... period. They are hard, but I keep them at about 50-55psi for towing. Once camping season stops, I'll go down to about 44psi. I do get sidewalking on real hard bumps, but at the higher psi, it's expected. They grip like noting else. My only complaint... not available in an outline white letter tire in the 20's.
