I have some Wagner therma quit pads ordered and I would like to change the stock rotors out while im at it.

Seems like there's not alot out there for 2008 4 x 2...anyone know what would work and where to buy a complete set of 4 ??

Slotted and zink plated prefered.

I went with Power Slot Cryo rotors. I love them! You can check www.autoanything.com or AJ-USA: www.ajusa.com

I even think that the Tire Rack carries them.

Call Summit and talk to them. You don't necessarily need the Cryo rotors. You can go with the standard Power Slots. I went with the Cryo due to the fact that they stand up better to warping than any other rotor.

Well they are telling me they will work how ever I really rather hear it from somebody who has them...retuning parts to the US from Canada is no fun.
I also would love to know how they hold up as I really wouild love to stay away from any warping

Summit Racing has a good rep! If they say it'll fit, it should. I have been really happy with my Power Slots. Again, I can't speak for the regular ones as I have the Cryo's, but I hear there standard rotors are just as good.

i'm debating getting new rotors (i've got the "i wanna buy something bug") but i can't decide on getting cross drilled or slotted rotors.

i would think that the cross drilled would be more likely to crack . . . but might have better stopping capabilities.

slotted rotors would be stronger but might not have the grip of cross drilled.

is this correct or am i way off?

Your 2008 takes the same rotors as a 2007.

Stay away from cross drilled rotors. They do tend to crack around the holes. There are a lot of companies out there that claim their rotors are superior, but if you check places like AutoAnything, Summit Racing, etc.. You will never see these places carry them. The only carry top line stuff from proven manufacturers . We do not have HI Performance trucks, therefore we do not need them. The Power Slot slotted rotors are a proven rotor. You get what you pay for. I have been extremely happy with my choice.

Just so you know, AutoAnything and Summit both carry a few brands of rotors that are cross drilled and very high quality...

I'm happy with the Raybestos non slotted, non cross drilled, plain old ordinary replacements that I put on about 30,000 miles ago. They are thiicker and heavier than OEM and I bought them at the local parts store. I am also very happy with the Wagner ThermoQuiets I have run for 63,000 miles. Still lots of wear left, never a sound, excellent stopping and very little dust.

i've got the same thermo pads and can't complain.

if the cross drilled have a three year warranty, then they can't be too bad

I would suggest Baer rotors for your truck based on their quality and your mods.

20x10 Moto Metal's
37x13.5 Nitto Mud Grappler's
Edge

20" wheels and 37" tires = more weight and a larger rotating mass thus causing a need for more stopping power
