Black on black

Anyone got pics of black wheels on a black truck? I am thinking about painting my MT's black leaving a polished ring around the edge and the chrome center caps. What do you think?

Ok I found plenty of black trucks with black wheels, but they were powder coated or painted at a shop. What I am talking about doing is rattle can spray painting them. I saw were one person talked about it but never gave feed back in one of the threads. Will this work? Does it really make a difference what kind of spray paint you use? Come on painters, give me a hand. I have Mickey Thompson classic II's aluminum wheels.

Sorry its not a red truck but I just sprayed mine with some 97cent Walmart Spray paint. Looks fine for a crap wheel.

Duplicolor makes a paint for wheels. That will probably be your best bet for a spray paint. A lot of how it turns out will have to do with the time and preperation you put into it. Be sure to scuff the wheel down with a Scotchbrite pad or sand it. I'd also primer it. While this will work, it will not be as durable as powdercoating or even painting it with automotive paint. You may want to consider talking with a body shop and seeing what they will charge. Sometimes you can get a painter to do it on the side for cheap, especially if you do all the labor.
