Tire Width Concern

I have an F150 FX4 2006 with a 2" leveling kit. There is a guy in town that is is selling his Mickey Thompson MTZ's almost brand new for $400.00 for all 4. Will these tires fit my setup and factory wheels? Please let me know. This is a really good deal right?

Ok well we need to know what size they are first? Your post only says that they are MTZs. Sounds like a good deal though.

You can fit those tires using the oem wheels. The problem is they are a little too wide for the oem wheels. A 325mm wide tire is just too wide for a 7.5 inch wide wheel. Usually running too wide of a tire can cause the center portion of the tire's tread to wear slightly faster than normal. If you plan on going to a wider aftermarket wheel in the near future, it may be a great deal.

I paid a lil over a $1000 for my MTZ's in that size. I would buy them. Even if you wear them out a little prematurely on stock wheels, you still paid less than half what you will pay for any good mud terrain in that size.

And you can put the money you save toward a nice set of 18x9 aftermarket wheels!
