Im looking to get all 4 new brake pads and two new front rotors, just wondering if you guys have any recomendations. Im gonna turn the back rotors when i replace the pads, the dealership turned the front ones due to vibrations in the steering wheel and it only made it worse. I dont need anything crazy (ie. cross drilled and slotted), just basic rotors that wont warp after 5 miles but ill pay a little extra for some real good brake pads. I have done a lot of searching and havent really come up with that much. Thanks in advance.

 

I bought Raybestos rotors at a local parts store. They are heavier than the OEM. I have had Wagner ThermoQuiet pads on for 62,000 miles and they have been great. Keep in mind that the 4X4 and the 4X2 rotors are different.

The 4X4 rotors are cheaper as the 4X2 has the bearings built into the rotors.

 

I use Hawk Performance pads on my Super Duty, I do believe they make them of the 150's too.

They are very good.

 

Power Slot rotors. Really worth the money!

 

Powerslots or Frozen Rotors are very well worth the money.

I have had my Power slots on for over 3 years and no problems.

They will save you money in the long run for not having to put on new rotors all the time.
