Tired of using search...

Sorry for another "will this fit" question but im tired of searching through the forums...

So i already have the Moto Metal 951 (17x9, 12mm offset, 4.5" backspacing) and I want to buy tires that are 315/70r17.

I have a 2007 SCab, 4x4, with the Auto Spring 2.5" leveling kit.

So folks, shoot away... will it work?

Nope I dont think so. Usually the verdict with 17s is you need a 17x8 with 5.5in of backspacing to fit 315s. Wandell will chime in with an answer that may be better than mine. 305s would probably fit better.

Nope won't fit, not enough backspacing. Stick with a 285/70 or 305/65 (33x11.5 or 33x12.5) for a perfect fit and proper fitment . Also, PawPaw would be the man to contact on this one

I agree. My 305/65/17 on 17x9 with 4.5" in backspacing is about as close as you are going to get without rubbing.

That's what I'd go with. Or the slightly narrower 285/70-17 (33x11.50).
