Check Out My New.....Pics
How **** are the cops on tint? I had 5% everywhere but the windshield, and I had the windshield tinted at 35% w/ a 20% strip on top. The cops never gave me crap over it.
@ the g/f. Mine is 5'3"-4" but she still manages to get in my truck.

Well hey she's 2-3"s shorter than yours, there is a difference there lol. But its not that she wouldnt be able to get in, of course she'd be able to with a bit more effort
. I'm just being a nice guy for now and i kind of like the steps on it to be honest. If and when i get sick of them i'll take them off and she'll just have to deal with it lol. As she reads what i'm typing and says "hey!" hahaha.EDIT
About the tinting, i found out that the truck wont even pass inspection if the front windows are tinted, so its definetly not an option. A bit of a contradiction to our "live free or die" state motto" lol.

It really does!!! I feel like i have a whole new truck, i catch myself going outside and looking out my windows just to stare at it
. What a difference it all makes. Now i just have to decide what i want to do next, cause you know it just never ends lol. I've already got a few things in mind....exhaust, flares, gears...but i plan on keeping this truck for a long time so i'm sure it will all be worth it.

Looks good Dan.
You have achieved my next step. Are your rims 18"? I am looking to get the BFG AT KO 305 65/18's too and was wondering how much I would have to shave. The difference between your truck and mine is 4X4 vs 4X2. Mine is leveled though thanks to some Bilsteins and hard spring crankin.

You know, honestly....i think i'm just going to take my chances with these wheels in the winter. I know its not recommended, but i didnt pay all that much for them. I'll just make sure to wash them often, worst cast scenario they get trashed and i'll buy new ones next year. Who knows, maybe by then i'll be sick of these ones and want new ones anyways
.
Here are some pictures of my truck with my Pro Comp 7005 wheels (0 offest,5" BS), BFG AT KO's 305/65/18 (34x12.50), and a 2.5" AS leveling kit. I personally love how it looks and am very happy with the setup. I'm surprised how much of a difference it made, and how much height i gained with the leveling kit and tires. It's nice to not feel like my front end is dragging on the ground lol. Big change from the stock rake and the General Americraps255/70/17's it had.
Thanks to everyone here who helped me make my decision, with out you guys i would never have known where to start.

Do you have any rubbing with your set up,and how is the ride with the tires and the leveing kit, also why did you do a 2.5 not a lower one??? thanks for any help as im getting ready to order some rims and tires
I went with the 2.5" leveling kit because the 2" kit wouldnt of been enough for my truck. I wanted to get it sitting as level as i could.
Ride
Dan thanks for that info,as for your RIDE in the truck how is it,does it pull to the right or left at all does the truck still ride nice or is it a rough ride thanks for all the info and sorry about all the question

Looks awesome man!!
I can't wait to get mine on.
The more I think about it these things have got to be really easy to repaint if we screw them up. I don't know if the simulated beadlocks screw out but if they do we can just take them out and spray them with some flat black and they will look new again.
Hopefully I won't need to find out anytime soon.

The rides not rough for me, except for when i get up to about 50 mph, then my truck and steering wheel starts to shake. The tire shop told me this is normal for bigger tires but i'm still not convinced of that. So i'll be going back there or finding another shop to re-balance them for me.
