New pads and rotors..
Time for new front pads on the beast. I am looking at going with EBC Green pads. But, since the truck has over 108,000 miles, i was looking at swapping front rotors. They are not warped or anything, just want to add some assurance. Would it be best to do everything at once, or would it be ok to do the pads now, and add the rotors in a month or so? Maybe after 1,500 miles on the pads? Will that affect the break-in of the pads and/or rotors? If so, i can wait and do them all at once, just kinda curious.

Very good point about the grooves. I try and turn them every time i do brakes, and i don't think i'll have enough rotor left to turn. Need to inspect them and see how bad they are. I was thinking of going with slotted rotors on the front... Yes, i did read all the posts below... i had slots on my T/A, it did make a difference.
But then again, i have 108,000 miles on my original shocks, maybe i need to replace those as well.. looking at Bilsteins. Might just make a day of it and do everything at once, shocks, rotors, new wheel bearings, pads, maybe evern through in a Lightning swaybar... have a brand new truck!

I always do new rotors with the pads. Now that rotors cost less, and turning them cost more, I don't think you save any money turning the old rotors.
I have a new set of EBC green pads for the front and back, and Brembo rotors listed in the Personal Classifieds. I bought the pads and rotors for all four wheels, then traded in the truck. I paid just over $400 for all of it.
I was hoping to find someone with a 4x4 in the Milwaukee-Chicago area so I would not have to ship them. I see you have a 4x2 in Florida.
