'08 Winter Wheels?

A question for the Notherners: What are you running for winter wheels in the land of snow and salt?

I just purchased a new '08 Screw XTR Plus that came with the 18" chrome clad wheels. I don't really want to run these in the winter and I normally buy Bridgestone Revo's for winter driving anyway. Any suggestions?

If they're the chrome plated wheels they'll hold up just fine unless things are really ugly where you are.
Just start out the winter with a good coating of wax on the wheels...I do a double coat...and if you get a lot of road spray on em then maybe an occasional wash. If you wash them alot, be sure to keep up the wax. Will work on the bumpers too.

Otherwise, yeah check eBay, craigslist, or the local tire shops for cheap takeoffs.

Just put your revo's on your factory chrome clads and don't give it another thought. Just wash from time to time. That's all I've done with the one's on my 07 and the one's on our 04 Expy. Zero issues due to winter weather/road treatments.
