Cheapest 40s

I need some help I just got my 6inch lift on plus I already have a 3 inch body.

So I know I can run 40s. Ive seen it done so dont tell me they wont fit!

I dont care what type of tire it is I just need a set of 40 inch tires for a 16 inch rim.

What is the lowest price Im lookin at for a set?

I think your truck already looks tough as nails with the 3 inch body and 35's cant wait to see how it will look like on 40's. Im sorry I cant help you out on the tire prices, I'm guessing keep searching, you can probably find some used ones on ebay.

don't mean to be a **** but..didn't you put brand new mud grapps on 2 weeks ago? why do you wanna get 40s now? theres a couple people here running 35s and with a 6" susp. and 3" body and it looks great. Cashel just put 38s on, and he said he was rubbing and would have to trim some stuff, so 40s will fit..but its gonna rub

Actually I put mud grapplers on like last august but some kid must have done a search and found my old thread and posted a comment so it brought it up again making it look like I just had all that stuff done to my truck but now I just got my 6 inch Fabtech lift put on and my tires have about half tread on them so now I wanna go bigger!

Plus I know 38s will fit but the older body styles like 97-98 model out of the 97-03 line of f150s actually have a wider wheel well than the 99-03 models do.

I'll post a picture of a guy who has an identical truck to mine

Its a 97 f150 5.4 with a 6inch BDS Lift and 3 inch body.
He's running 40/15.50/R20 Toyo Mt on a 20" American Racing Trax 8 Rim!

Ok is it me or does your 6+3 sit right above the 35's? you should have alot more space. Because the pic of the one with 40's look a hell of alot taller than yours. It might just be the pics but you dont even look like you have room for 37's.

Oh Ive got plenty!

IMO I think the 35s look way to small!

I could deff fit 38s atleast! In person you would know I have alot of room!

The truck pic I posted, the guy had another pic but I couldnt find it! It was of his truck with just a BL and those rims but he was running 37 BFG AT!!!!

I have no clue how they fit he said he had very minimal rubbing!

But those pictures are proof that a 97 F150 LIKE mine CAN fit
40s and look dang good!
