Painted Brake Calipers!

I finally got around to painting the front brake calipers, here are a few pics...

I personally wouldnt have painted the pad backing plate or hardware but It looks great!! Nice Job!!

I thought about taking the caliper off but I was kinda pushed on time so I said screw it I`ll just tape it off good and paint it with it on, it turned out good to I thought but you really cant see it unless you get under the truck, if I ever get some different wheels I think it would be more noticable its one of those things that doesn`t really matter but I know its there, thanks for the compliments

looks pretty good, i'm sure more people notice it than you think though since your trucks lifted and you can see under the truck more. f150 rider check your PMs

yea I didnt think about that if they`re ridin in a small car you can probably see all the way under my truck, I sent you a PM too cotedog03

yea your right man the whole truck is due a good detail job I just havent made time to do it plus we just moved to the country and we have like a 1/8th mile long driveway so there is lots of dust and plenty of mud

they look sharp! Did you use heat resistent paint?

I think Dupli-Color sells paint especially for calipers. You have a choice of brush on or spray paint, just make sure they are clean first.

yea it is Dupli-Color Red Caliper Spray Paint, I took the wheels off first and then washed the calipers with Purple Power and a stiff bristle brush and then I let it dry real good, I washed the whole truck this morning and you could actually see it better though the wheels with everything clean, I`ll have to take some more pics sometime so you`all can see em when they`re clean, thanks for the compliment Less
