Really excited to be getting 305/65/17 BFG ATS and ProComp 7005 black wheels for my 350. However, the wheels are offered in 2 models, a 17x8 with 4.5 BS and 0 offset, and a 17x9 with 4.75 BS and -6mm offset.

What would be the visual difference between the two? I know a bit about backspacing, but nothing about BS and offset in combination.

 

1st off BS and Offset are two different measurements for the samething. Having a wheel with 4.75" of BS will stick out about 3 inches farther than the oem wheels and a wheel with 4.5" of BS will stick out about 2.5 inches farther than oem wheels.

 

I understand that - thats why it confused me to see both measurements on the same wheel. Thank you for the help though.

 

I come up with the 17x8's sticking out 1 1/2 inches and the 17x9's 2 1/4 inches. But I'm using Cajun math!! Oh hell, I see you have a 350 I'm probably wrong.

 

Yeah, what's the width and bs on the oem Super Duty wheels?

 

Thats the thing, I dont know. It is an XL, with the 17 inch steel wheels.

Edit: Stock backspacing is 6 inches on the 05-07s.
