Need New Tires

I need some new tires for my 05 Supercrew Lariat. The guy at the local shop said that the size on the truck were an oddball factory size, 275/65R18. I want to replace with Cooper tires they had in the shop, but not in my size.

The closest size was a 285/60R18. Will this work?

Yes, those would work. Personally, I'd go with at least a 285/65-18.

Those would work, but they are going to be a little shorter than those you are taking off. The height of a tire can be determined by multiplying the height 275 by the width 75. The 275/65 will give you 178.75 mm in height (275x.65) the 285/60 will give you 171 mm in height. Only a small difference.

I'd go with the BFG AT KO or Nitto Terra Grappler.
