So what ive decided to do with my truck as of now is a leveling kit, 17x8 American Racing Tactic wheels on 35'' BFG All terrain tires. Im going for the agressive off road look and want performance as well. After almost getting stuck last weekend in some soft sand it threw me over the edge to have this done. I have a 05 XLT Scab 4.6 in dark stone btw.

You should be good to go as long as those 17x8's have 5.5 inches of backspacing.
