New Wheel Sizing

I am getting ready to buy these wheels I found on EBAY, I have a 2004 Scab 4x4 5.4L, I just want to confirm that these wheels will in fact fit on my truck with 35" 12.50 17 Pro Comp Radial AT's, they are 17x8 Incubus Poltergeist with a 5.37" BS. I have a 2.5" AS Spacer and Pro Comp Add-a-Leaf out back. Just let me know if I am good to go. Wandell or PawPaw I value your input greatly. Thanks and after this thread I will stop with the backspacing threads...

It will be tight, but they may fit. I believe Paw Paw has 8 inch wide wheels with 5.5 inches of backspacing.

After your post, I read that Paw Paw said he had no rubbing with 35's on 17x8's with 5.5 inches of bs so I think you will be fine.

The 17x8's with 5.37 inches of backspace ought to work out OK, that's pretty close to what I have. They will stick out close to 1/4" more then mine and give you a total of 3/4 inches out more then stock. Ought to look great when finished!

That will be exactly 3/4 inches out more then stock. It ought to work if you stay with the tires you say are going on your truck. And yes I have the carquest blue pads on my truck, they still give off dust mainly in the front but not as bad as the stock pads. They are semi-metallic but it may be better to go with ceramic pads. Maybe someone else can chime in. They do stop better than the stock pads! Any carquest auto part's store should have them or can get them for you.
