I am going on a 3200 trip in a week. I need to put new front rotors on. I know there are those that like the slotted and crossed drilled. I would buy these if I could right now but cannot (have to use the extra for fuel). oF THE PEPZONEOREILLYNAPA crowd I have found rotors for $29 a piece and ceramic pads for $50. For this quick fix what is the true diffrence between a $30 standard rotor and a $70 standard rotor? I do realize there is a diffrent warranty, Is this a brand name price diffrence or a materials diffrence? Any input is appreciated.

 

I find the cheaper rotors tend to be 1 time use, warpage mostly and seem thin. I don't skimp on rotors and it usually pays off. I use to think premiums were domestically made, not so anymore which pisses me off. I think you pay for a warranty as well, these bieng the differences but every store is different.
