tire question

I am debating on which tire to buy, the two that I am looking at are the Mickey Thompson MTZ's or the Pro Comp X-Terrains. Which tire do you think is a better product?? The size I will be purchasing them in will be 35x12.5...
Any help would be great.. Thanks

Both are made by Cooper tire so quality should be comparable. However, the MTZ is a better performing tire.

I have only had the Xterrains on for a few thousand miles so I cannot really speak of wear but they are loud! I head they were not very good in the mud but I played in a little mud this weekend and they did fine. My buddy got 110,000 miles out of 2 sets of Xterrains...He says.... Then again he also told me they were quiet so who knows.

question:

is this your toy or your daily driver? you may want to consider the options when dealing with that.

you may want to consider going with a/t's ..... some like the agressive look and dont care about mpg's and noise and all that, but others like to save money and get good gas mileage, sometimes getting good performance out of a/t's that is comparable to m/t's.......something to consider......it's up to you....
