Little Help?
Little Help?
I'm runnin around in a 05 150 Lariat Scab, 2wd with a 5.4L and need new tires. I will probably stay with BFGs and b/c I am not in the position to purchase new rims, will be staying with my stock 18"s.
I put on some Bilstein leveling shocks (2") on and want the biggest tire I can fit under there with little to no rubbing. I would like to stay with the AT style due to being off road some. What is the biggest size I can put on these factory rims given my specs? I am not real good with the tire company measurements either so a translation would be helpful.
Thanks

I assume the BFG AT KOs (34X12.5) will increase my tire height and width by an inch either way. I like the tread on these. Many of my friends have them and I just wanted to know if they would work for a leveled 2wd. They all have 4wd.
Thanks Buddy. I'll watch the full lockin when turning. Gonna be hard when I need to do a U-turn.
One more bro. Do you suppose when switching from a 285 to a 305, there would be a problem with Odometer or MPH calculations or is that not such a significant switch. I imagine it would only be crucial to re-calibrate only if I went with a larger rim and lets say a 35. Sound right?
