Wandell please ???

18" x 9" wheels with a 4.75" BS > with 305/65-18" BFG AT's (33.7" dia) mounted on them.....

.....mounted on my 2wd F150, with only a 2" leveling (by way of my Bilstein 5100's)

Will they fit ? Or will they hit ?

Thank you Wandell,
Fish

PS, I think it has to be a typo, and my guess is these wheels are "actually" 18 x 9's..... But one page says 18 x 9, and another says 18 x 9.5. If the latter was true, would that be a deal breaker ?

My guess would be no. That's basically a 34x12.50 tire. If you could find a narrower wheel with more backspacing, like an 18x8 with 5.5 inches of bs, you may fit them.

Well....

that sucks :-( But I'm glad to have heard this now, instead of waiting until after I've spent big bucks, and then end up with problems.

I was just going by forum member Jonamond's sweet looking 305/65-18"s.....

But 1) He was using a stock 8" wide wheel (like you suggested Wandell) even though this tire has a recomended minimum wheel width of 8 1/2"...

2) His truck is a 4wd, and mine is a 2wd.... Does this make a difference in max tire / wheel size ?

3) He still experienced a slight amount of rubbing, albeit, only when turned to one side....

So, I guess I'm back to "dinky little" 285/65-18"s ..... or 285/70-17"s.....

Hmmm,
Fish

2wd's are 2" lower than 4wd's so if you level your truck it will sit the same as an unlevel 4wd.

Makes sense. I guess I should have figured.
