Questions

okay i'd like to get some new rims and tires..it might be a month or so but i'd like to start looking.
i have a 2.5 AS leveling kit that'll be installed in about a week or two
but i dont want to get too big of tires becasue this is my DD and i dont want to lose a bunch of gas mileage but i would like a bigger and more aggressive tire

i'm thinking these rims in 18"

and the maybe the BFGoodirch Mudd-Terrain T/A KM ???
but i dont know if these tires are good for DD....
if these tires would be alright then what size should i get them in?

suggestions???

oh yea and this is my truck for a visual aid or whatever

for size i would go with 33x12.50
any bfg is going to be a good tire but for a dd i would say look into some AT tires rather than mt. **** cepek radial fcII, pro comp extreme at, and mickey thompson baja atz. these are my personal favorites because they still have the aggressive look. but if you want an mt i would say go with toyo mt because they seem to last the longest.

i'm thinking about keeping my stock tires for a little while because they only have about 26,000 miles on them so if i got the rims i pictured above would my stock tires fit on those?

While those are some sharp looking rims, all those nooks and crannies are notorious for collecting dirt and brake dust and can be a real pain to keep clean. Just something to think about...

I'd put some larger tires on the stock wheels first, maybe some 285x65x18's (33's) or 305x65x18's (34's) I'd stick with a all-terrain for daily use. To me a larger tire on stock wheels on a leveled 4x4 look's great. You can always buy wheels later. Just my 2 cent's.
