Have 98 Lariat 4X4 super cab and my Toyo 265 75 16's need replacing. I would like a bigger looking tire and would like to know if the difference in looks between a 305 70 15 and a 285 75 16 ins significant enough to justify the wear facter of the 305's and the additional cost. I know this is subjective but I would still like some opinions. I am considering the BF Goodrich AT or the Nitto. Thanks for any opinions. Ron

 

You are basically comparing a 33x11.50 (285/75-16) and a 33x12.50 (305/70-16). If you are gonna be usign the oem 16x7 wheels, the 285's will fit better. A 305 is a little too wide for a 7 inch wide wheel. The best looking combo would be a 305/70-16 on a 16x10 aftermarket wheel though.
