What size?

I got a 2006 F150 STX 4x4, reg cab, reg bed, 17 inch stock wheels

I got two questions, first one is how big of a tire can I put on my truck without it rubbing, and how much bigger can i go with a 2.5 inch leveling kit on the front?

Second, what kind of tires do you guys reccomend, i do almost 90% street/highway driving but im looking for a tough looking tire, like an all terrain, i go hunting a lot so i do take it off road.

Thanks

PS I have done a search

You can put a 285x70x17 stock, leveled a 295x70 a 305x70 or up to a 315x70 but may rub a little with the 315's with stock wheels. I'd check out the BFG, Nitto, Toyo and Pro Comp AT's.

I agree with Paw Paw. As a general rule with a leveling kit is you can fit a 35x12.50 using the oem wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels.

Like Wandell said 33's with aftermarket wheel and 35's with OEM wheels. Based on your driving habits I would go with BFG.
