Questions on my new Rims

just scored a set of 18" L wheels for dirt cheap

buuuut

1) The chrome is peeling pretty bad, especially on the inside of the rim

and

2) The tread is basically non-existant

so what are my options for getting the chrome fixed?

what are some good tires? and how much $$ are they gonna cost me?

also how much do yall think i could sell a set of '02 17" FX4 rims with two month old tires on them for??

Good Luck......

After you pay to have them refinished, it won't be such a good deal....

a local place here in Huntsville-wheelfixit- charges anywhere from 100-145 a rim for refinishing. Or you can strip it all yourself and paint em black...

GoodLuck

that's a fair estimate...
i just had a set of 18" wheels for my Mustang powdercoated. I paid $400, but they said they wouldn't be giving anyone else that kind of deal because of all the prep work involved. The wheels came out certifiably badass, though. The good thing about powdercoating is it won't peel like your chrome.

You will have to sand/beadblast the chrome off.
