anyone have 20's on there 4x4?

I have a 99 F150 ext. cab 4x4 truck and have been thinking about upgrading my wheels and tires, I currently have stock wheels with 305/70/16 mud dawgs. I would really like to see some pics of other trucks with 20's and mud or all terrain tread tires. Also how much lift will be required to fit them? Thanks

yeah there is not very many members on here with 97-03 style 4x4s running 20s...i remember a thread a while back about people not being able to find that many styles that would work on the 4x4 in a 20" wheel and the old 5 lug pattern...ive never really looked myself

built 54 is the only member i can think of off hand... currently he is running 20x10 Chrome Helo Maxx 6's. the bolt pattern is 5x135. i think he has 20'' nitto terra grapplers as well. they do look pretty nice on his truck, but i do think he is also lowered slightly.

I'm runnin 20's on my 2002 4X4. Check my sig for more pics. I went with 275/55/20 Cooper LTZ tires. They have a nice all terrain tread on them. They're 32'' but you could go another inch without a lift.

Oh I am.
I cannot stand this huge wheel craze it makes finding normal wheels and tires almost impossible.

Not everyone likes that look.

Hell i struggled with going with 18's on my truck.

Yeah i know 20's are becoming factory size on many cars and trucks.

I will admit 20's are not to bad depending on the tire size. But seeing a 20" Wheel on a 4x4 with a 33" Tire looks stupid to me. 4X4 Trucks should not have rubber band tires, that should be left to the sports cars.

And i will admit one more thing I actually own a set of 20's

I run them on my Stang but i fought my wife about it when she said she wanted them. But they sure do look good on it.

Like I said this large wheel craze has simply made finding a nice set of 18"s very very hard especially with the proper backspacing when you begin lifting trucks.
