Will they fit?

I put the Daystar 2.5" leveling kit on and now am ready to purchase some tires. I'd like to have BFG 325/65 r18's, but don't know if they will fit or let me turn without putting a lift kit on. The specs show the height as 34.7" and 13" wide. I'm sure the 305/65's will fit, but would rather have the taller tire.

Before I spend the $1200, I'd appreciate some help. Thanks.

You didn't mention what wheel you are gonna use. If you have a 4x4, they will fit using the oem wheels. However, that tire is way too wide for the oem 7.5 inch wide wheels. If you mount them on a wider aftermarket wheel, you are gonna need more lift to fit them. I'd suggest going with a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) on an 18x9 inch wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing.

Hmmm, buying new wheels isn't something I hadn't planned on doing because I like the way the factory ones look. I guess I'm stuck with stock tires. Thanks for your help.

The 305x65x18's look great on stock wheels, and would give more clearance than the 325x65's which would probably cause rubbing problem's. The 305's are close to 34 inches tall and look great on a leveled 4x4. Just my 2 cent's!

The 305/65-18 BFG's show a rim width range of 8.5"-11" and a measured rim width of 9". Will these work on my stock 18x7.5's?

Hell yeah, a lot of guy's are running them and they look great. I wish they would have been out a few year's back because I would have them on my stock 18" wheels.

Thanks for the help. I was reading another recent post where a guy wants to put 35X12.5-18 on his stock 04 FX4 wheels. I'm guessing those are the same wheels I have (04 4X4 Lariat Screw) and that I can fit those with just the 2.5 Daystar leveling kit?

That's the problem. The 325's will fit, but they are too wide for the oem 7.5 inch wide wheels. A 305mm or 315mm (12.50 inch) wide tire is pushing it to the limit.

Just as an example, I put a 285 width tire on my GMC HD which had a terribly narrow 6.5 " rim. I got maybe 9,000 miles out of them before the centers were shot. That is a 4.72" difference between tire width and rim width. A 325 to a 7.5" rim would be a 5.3" difference. Let me add this, I have 9" width rims running 305's. I have 30,000 miles on the nitto's and should reach 50,000 no problem.

Okay, I found 4 17X10 (6X135) wheels. Am I
okay to put the 325/70's on it with just the Daystar 2.5" leveling kit?

Wheel too wide and tire too tall, will rub in the front. Who make's a 325x70?

My 315's rubbed on 17x9 wheels with 5 inches of BS on the lower wheelwells. The more you stick out in the front with your wheel and tire combo the more chances to rub, even on a leveled 4x4.
