5" of backspacing too much for just a level?

These are 17x9's with 5" BS, just don't go too tall or wide with the tires.

18x9, 5" BS, 325/60/18 tires. Rub gone with some minor trimming to the rear of the fender flare. Go for it! I got just the look I wanted!

Bumping this from the past.

Ordered some 17x8" Wheels with 5" backspacing. Looking at running 315s. Any one with pics?

315x70x17 BFG's on 17x8 wheels with 5.5 inches of BS...they fit fine on my leveled '04 Lariat. Only stuck out 1/2" more than stock.

So with 5" of BS they'll stick out 1" more? I think I've got it figured out.

Thanks. I've got about 1" of room between my 285s on factory rims and the UCA. Hopefully sticking them out another 1" will allow plenty of room for 315s, since they're a about an Inch wider.

I think you should have no rubbing problems...don't forget to line up a matching height spare.
