f150 to f250

I just bought a 06 F250 PS, FX4 with the OEM 18's. But i have only had my 305/65/18 BFG A/t on my f150 for a bought 4 months. So i was wondering if it was possible to put the tires off the f250, 275/70/18 BFG rugged trails, on my old f150 and put the 305/65/18 A/t on my new f250?

Yes, they will fit fine. That is basically a 34x12.50 tire. I have seen several stock 4x4 SD's fit 35x12.50 tires by using the oem wheels.

Since you already had the 305's on there the 275's will be no problem.

I had a 2000 f350 with leveling kit on...ran 305's...had a slight rub on max turn to the right..rubbed on leaf spring...but other than that..had plenty of room...and i think the 06 already sets level compared to the 2000-2003 models...so i would think you wouldnt have to even level it...

The size will fit fine. The one thing you need to worry about is the load rating of those F150 tires. To keep the functionality and general safety of your F250, youll want E range tires. Most F150s do not have those.

bfg says that the tires are 305/65/18/E, service description 124R. do you know if these have the proper load. The truck is going to be use pretty regularly so i defenatly don't want to compromise the functionality.
