THey have a good reputation. I can't remember hearing of any negative comments on them.

I have them and love them. I know many of my friends have them as well. No negatives here! They are a very nice wheel for the price!

I've got 2 set's of them now and have had no problem's. My first set of American's was some Torque-Thrust one's way back in 1967 mounted on a 1966 GTO with 14" wheel's.

Well in less than 1 year( still under warranty), my chromed American Racing rims were starting to pit pretty badly in the "window area"

The guy at Discount tires said I would probably be told that since I live on the gulf coast, that the reps from AR would try to blame it on salt air. Discount wouldnt honor the warranty since it was not his "in house brand" so i'd have to drive to the dealer about 50 miles away and have them "inspect them"

I wasnt about to drive across houston to be screwed around, so I still have them on the truck,,,,lesson learned Polished clear coated aluminum from now on, and not AR brand
