Anyone have any tips on changing the parking brake cable. Other than getting the right one which seems to be task. I know where it goes in the cab and hooks up under the cab, but can't for the life of figure out how to get it off the pedal.

 

This diagram should help:



Disconnect the front parking brake cable and conduit from the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit.
Pull the front parking brake cable and conduit rearward to unclip it from the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit.

 

Thanks for the help man! Unfortunately, after 2 different cables being ordered in, I think I am going to have to go to the dealer to get the right one. Anyone else have a problem getting the right one?
