part time pulsing brakes?

I have a little annoyance that I just cant stand any longer. Some times when I stop at say a red light from a high speed (50mph) it seems like the brakes will kinda pulsate, but if I let off the brake and get back on them it seems to stop sometimes. what do think it is? no ABS light is on, I checked the wheels last time I drove and none of them seemed hotter so sticky caliper is ruled out, if the rotors are warped wouldnt it do it all the time?

gonna have to pull the wheels off and investigate. could be time for new pads, tires might need a balancing.check all your suspension parts also.

When you say pulsing brakes, do you mean felt thru the pedal or steering wheel?

If it's the steering wheel, its probably your rotors temporarily warping due to heat. If they were turned, they maybe borderline too thin, and warp when they get hot. That's why you may only notice it sometimes.

i have been told by midas that my rotors are warped, but they dont pulsate everytime i stop. once you step on them, after not using them for alittle bit, the rotors are cold so you feel them pulsate, but once you apply the heat that the pads create, the rotors tend to expand alittle bit making the pulsating not near as bad. i wouldnt woory about changing them, making just have someone look at them, and do a turn job if you want to.
