wondering if anyone has ordered wheels and tires from an online site, i live in canada so i'm afraid of a huge customs bill, does anyone have a suggestion for a site or an experience with the duty and/or brokerage fees i'll have to pay.

 

Ordered from superbuytires.com a couple times. Highs: Vast selection of wheels and tires. Lows: It took forever to get the damn things. I believe they're a little slow because they get a lot of business. I haven't ordered anything from them lately. Not completely down on them - I would order from them again if they had a wheel I couldn't find anywhere local. Hope this helps. - Og.

 

I'm trying out a site called kxwheels.com. They are out of Surrey,BC.I ordered Helo Maxx6's from them last week,on Thursday.They said the wheels have to come out of the US and thats the last I heard from them.They took my money,though, I'm gonna try and find out a delivery date today, and I'll post back the results.

 

I'm not sure about duty fees or other related shipping expense to Canada, but I got my tires thru TireRack.com and was very pleased. Placed the order on Monday morning and the tires were delivered to my door by Friday. My wheels I got off of ebay thru a dealer, same thing, ordered on Monday and they came the same day as the tires.

You hear allot of horror stories about buying on line but I've had great luck.
